Fyodor Filippovich Konyukhov – Russian traveler, writer, priest. Alone he made five voyages around the world, crossed the Atlantic 17 times, and once in a rowboat.
The first Russian to visit all the Seven Peaks, alone at the South and North Poles. Winner of the national award “Crystal Compass” and the Guinness World Records. The first man in the world to reach the five poles of the Earth: North Geographic (three times), South Geographic, Pole of relative inaccessibility in the Arctic Ocean, Everest (height pole), Cape Horn (yachtsmen’s pole). The first made a solitary voyage around the world. The first crossed the ocean in a rowboat. The first made a round-the-world balloon flight.
